There is no one more giving and inspiring in this world than Oprah Winfrey.
In 2007 she opened a school in South Africa for low income girls.
How many celebrities can you name that opened a school? I’ll wait.
The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy began with 150 girls, all of which she calls her “daughters.”
“We’re all trying to be here on the planet and fulfill what it is our heart wants to express,” she says. “When you can figure out a thing that connects with you, there really isn’t anything better. I feel expanded because of the work that I do that’s called charity.”
